1. Acceptance of terms
By visiting opalhorizonsalon.com or booking services with Opal Horizon Salon (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or our services.
2. Appointments, deposits & cancellations

How to book: Online booking or by phone/text at 661-214-5853.

Cancellation window: Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Late cancel/no-show: Late cancels and no-shows may be charged 50% of the scheduled service(s). Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.

Late arrivals: If you’re 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten or modify your service to fit the remaining time. Arrivals beyond 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show.
3. Pricing & payment

Prices are listed as “starting at” and may vary based on hair length, density, time, and technique.

We accept various payments including credit card, cash, check, and P2P payment apps. Available payment methods may vary by stylist. Gratuities are appreciated but never required.

Quotes given before a consultation are estimates only.
4. Color results, corrections & patch tests

Hair color results depend on your starting hair, history, and at-home care.

Corrections/adjustments: If something feels off, contact us within 4 days. We’ll assess and, if appropriate, schedule a complimentary adjustment (no refunds on completed services).

Patch tests: If you have sensitivities, ask for a patch test [48] hours before color services.
5. Products, returns & exchanges

Retail products may be exchanged within 14 days if unused/unopened with a receipt. For gently used products causing irritation, contact us—case-by-case solutions apply.

No returns or refunds on completed services.
6. Health, safety & contraindications

Please tell your stylist about allergies, sensitivities, recent medical treatments, or hair/scalp conditions.

If a service isn’t safe to perform, we may decline or modify it.

We follow sanitation practices in line with California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology guidelines.
7. Minors

Clients under 16 must have a parent/guardian present for consultation and consent.

Some services may be unavailable for minors at our discretion.
8. Personal items
We’re not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon.
9. Photos & content usage
We may ask to take before/after photos or videos. We’ll only use your images for marketing or education with your verbal or written consent. Declining won’t affect your service.
10. Communication & SMS
By providing your phone or email, you consent to receive appointment reminders and service messages. Marketing texts/emails are opt-in and you can unsubscribe anytime (reply STOP to texts). Message/data rates may apply.
11. Website use & intellectual property

The site and its content (logos, photos, copy) are owned by Opal Horizon Salon or our licensors and protected by law.

You may not copy, reuse, or distribute site content without written permission.

Don’t use the site in a way that breaks laws, harms others, or tries to disrupt our systems.
12. Third-party links & tools
We may link to third-party sites (e.g., booking, payments). We’re not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Use them at your own risk and review their terms.
13. Disclaimer; limitation of liability
Salon services carry inherent risks. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services or site use. If we’re found liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Opal Horizon Salon harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Venue for disputes will be Los Angeles County, California.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with the “Last updated” date.
